- Diagnostics are adaptive: a missed grade-level item probes the prerequisite skill; rapid mastery opens a higher-complexity item and enrichment instead of repetitive remediation.
- No single test score is the sole basis for a major decision. C84 combines diagnostic evidence, student work, mastery checks, instructor observations, parent context, and ongoing performance.
- Academic preferences only vary how material is presented — C84 does not claim that a preference is a scientifically fixed learning style.

After assessment, C84 generates a living plan — a visual progress map rather than a generic course list. Every plan records the scholar’s baseline, goals, priorities, pathways, dosage, and the date evidence will be rechecked.

Designed to support USI’s published privacy and student-data requirements. C84 Kids Academy does not independently collect children's personally identifiable information. All sign-in is brokered through the USI Hub. Parents create and control accounts at the Hub, and may review, modify, or delete their child's data at any time.
FERPA Aligned
Reading progress data (lesson completion, mastery-check scores, level advancement) is education-record data handled under USI's FERPA posture. All data is processed, stored, and protected in accordance with federal education-privacy standards.
AI Governance
Student data is never used for advertising or to train AI models by default. The AI tutor works only from approved context, never fabricates grades or school records, and escalates to a human when confidence is low.

No. C84 Kids Academy is academic tutoring, enrichment, and personal academic development that works alongside the school your scholar already attends. It is not a school of record and does not award credit or diplomas unless a specific course is separately designated and authorized to do so.
What grades does C84 serve?
Kindergarten through Grade 12, organized into four developmental bands: Foundation Scholars (K–2), Growing Scholars (3–5), Developing Scholars (6–8), and Future-Ready Scholars (9–12). Bands organize the experience; personalization follows assessment evidence.
What happens first?
Every new learner begins with the age-appropriate C84 Personal Academic Development Assessment. From it, C84 builds a Personal Academic Development Plan with clear priorities, assigned pathways, a weekly dosage recommendation, and a reassessment date.
Does the AI do my child’s homework?
No. The C84 AI Tutor teaches rather than performs schoolwork. On active assignments it offers questions, hints, examples, scaffolding, and revision guidance — "I’ll help you work through it, not do it for you." A configurable Academic Integrity Mode enforces this.
Is a human involved?
Yes. C84 is AI-guided and human-supported. Instructors review assessments and plans, respond to escalations, override mastery states with documented reasons, and keep parents informed. Scholars can always choose "Ask a Human Tutor."
What about the reading program C84 is known for?
It continues as the flagship C84 Literacy Accelerator pathway — Assessment & Foundations through Mastery & Celebration — now expanded by grade band. Existing scholars keep their badges, reports, completed work, attendance, assessment history, and certificates.
Can C84 diagnose a learning difference?
