Meal availability may vary by event, location, staffing, sponsorship, and program capacity.

Voices from Our Community

Real stories from the people whose lives have been touched.

Before this program, I didn't think anyone cared about what I had to say. My mentor showed me that my voice matters — and now I use it every day.

Jaylen, Age 15

Mentee

The journaling sessions changed how I handle my anger. Instead of acting out, I write it down. My grades went from D's to B's in one semester.

Deshawn, Age 13

Mentee

I came in lost after high school — no plan, no direction. My mentor helped me build a resume, land an internship, and now I'm applying to community college.

Aisha, Age 21

Mentee

I was skeptical at first, but seeing my son wake up excited about journaling and community projects — that's something I never expected. This program changed our family.

Tasha W.

Parent

As a single mom, I needed help reaching my daughter. The mentors here gave her a voice and gave me peace of mind knowing she's safe and growing.

Denise R.

Parent

Volunteering here isn't just giving back — these young people teach me more about resilience and determination every single week.
