SMS Messaging Policy

How we collect mobile opt-in consent, what messages you can expect, and how to manage or stop them at any time.

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Mobile Opt-In Data Is Never Shared

Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in our policies excludes mobile opt-in data.

How We Get Permission to Message You

The Unique Scholars Institute only sends SMS text messages to mobile numbers when the phone number’s owner has given express written consent. We capture that consent in two clear ways:

  1. Provide a phone number. A contact provides their phone number through one of our forms (such as our Contact Us page or program enrollment forms).
  2. Check the opt-in box. The contact then checks one or more clearly-labeled opt-in checkboxes indicating which type of messages they consent to receive (informational and/or marketing). Consent is never pre-checked, never bundled with another action, and is never required as a condition of any purchase, enrollment, or service.

We log the date, time, and IP address of every opt-in as proof of consent. Consent is associated only with the specific phone number provided and is revocable at any time — see How to Stop Messages.

Disclosure You’ll See on Every Opt-In Form

The following language appears alongside the consent checkboxes wherever we collect a phone number:

“The Unique Scholars Institute would like your consent to send informational and/or marketing text message communications from +1 (844) 874-8328 to your mobile number listed above. Informational messages may include responses to messages you send us, as well as information relevant to your relationship with us. Marketing messages may include discount codes, special deals or texts promoting our products/services. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply ‘STOP’ to unsubscribe at any time. Reply ‘HELP’ for assistance or more information. We do not share your mobile opt-in information with anyone.”
