Trust & FERPA
Your academic data is protected
Texas College Prep is an AI college-readiness program built on a FERPA-forward foundation. Transcripts, GPA, and application data are handled as education records, and sign-in is governed by The Unique Scholars Institute — the program stores no separate passwords.
Education Records, Protected
GPA, transcripts, test scores, and application data are treated as education records under USI’s FERPA posture. Access is limited to the student, their linked parent/guardian, and authorized instructors.
No Separate Password Storage
Texas College Prep never stores a separate program password. Sign-in is governed by The Unique Scholars Institute with one account across the institution.
One Identity Across USI
You register once at USI and are recognized across every program. Identity and enrollment are governed centrally by the institute, not by an individual program.
Minimal Data Collection
The program does not independently collect minors’ personal information beyond what USI already governs. The data you see here mirrors your USI record.
Regulatory Alignment
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act — academic & application records
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act — protections for minors
Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment — surveys & disclosures
Accessibility for all students and families
Nondiscrimination in programs and activities
Support, not promises
Texas College Prep provides personalized roadmaps, milestones, and Texas-focused resources for college, university, nursing, and trade-school pathways. We present guidance and resources — we do not guarantee admission, scholarship, or financial-aid amounts.
For Schools & Counseling Departments
