At the heart of our program is the mentor-mentee relationship — a consistent, caring adult who shows up every week with guidance, accountability, and belief in each young person's potential.
What This Looks Like
Mentorship isn't just about giving advice. It's about showing up — consistently, reliably, and with genuine care.
Every mentee is paired with a trained mentor who has completed our rigorous screening process, including background checks, interviews, and boundary training. Mentors commit to weekly attendance and monthly evaluations.
The mentor relationship is built on trust, structure, and mutual respect. Mentors don't replace parents — they complement the support system. They listen, challenge, encourage, and hold space for growth.

Weekly Appearance
Mentors attend every weekly session alongside their mentee. During group activities, mentors observe and guide. During journaling, they provide quiet support. The monthly one-on-one check-in is the cornerstone of the mentor relationship.
